What the buying workflow looks like

  1. Open a CarMax or Velocicast lot page. You can also Allow this site on ACV, EBlock, OPENLANE / ADESA / TradeRev, America's Marketplace, BacklotCars, SmartAuction, Copart, IAA, or ServNet.
  2. Press Price on a car you choose. SaneLot ranks free Carvana, CarMax, and AutoNation exit estimates for that VIN and odometer at no report-credit cost.
  3. Choose the result to compare the ranked exits. Select Title + Book only when you want the separate guide and title/history report; that action uses one report credit.
  4. On iPhone or iPad, paste or scan a VIN from any sale. Same research, no Chrome required.
  5. Pass the cars that do not clear. Bid on the ones that do.
  6. Once you win it, the free iPhone and iPad app takes over: photos, the write-up, the lot page, feeds, and buyer messages.

After install

  1. Open the run list (CarMax, Velocicast, or Allow this site on ACV, EBlock, OPENLANE, Copart, IAA, and the others listed above).
  2. Enter your SaneLot activation code once. Choose Allow this site for that exact site, or Not now to grant nothing.
  3. Tap Price on one car. Free ranked exits. Title + Book only if you want the report (one credit).
  4. Pass what does not clear. Bid on what does. When you win it, open the iPhone app: named photos, honest write-up, publish the same afternoon.
